Ive been trying to make a banner for this here blog, a couple of posts down you can see my first attempt. Ive used the same idea but changed the colours to fit with the over all feel of the simple black and white style I have now. Now all I need to do is work out how to change the CSS code and actually get the banner on here….
One of last terms assignments required us to map an area of interest to us. This project was mainly a research task but it also required a physical outcome. The brief asked us to use an area of graphic design (in my case branding and logo design) that we find interesting. It was important to not create a finished item but to make the item used to make the finished item….understand? No neither did I for quite a while! But after a lot of research and a lot of work I created my How To Guide. The attached CD is a collection of vector elements designed by me for the readers use. Paired with the guide itself its the best way to start your logo design.
So if your about to make a BJJ logo, take a good look at these photos. If not, then just enjoy.

Ive discovered the iPhones camera is pretty good, I always feel really conspicuous with my Cannon D3100. Ive started snapping all over the place and Im getting some pretty good results. Ive also started using Instagram and found what the iPhone camera lacks in clarity the filters you can put on after bring out some really interesting results. Heres a few of my favorites.
